Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused individual to join their finance team. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process. Your main duties will include processing supplier invoices, ensuring that they are accurately recorded and matched to purchase orders, and preparing payments for approval. You will also be responsible for reconciling supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records. In addition, you will assist with month-end procedures, supporting the preparation of management accounts, and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions and timely payments.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a solid understanding of purchase ledger procedures. Experience in using accounting software, such as Sage or similar systems, is essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will also be able to manage their time effectively, work to deadlines, and communicate confidently with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Location: Hull, HU14 3RS
Manpower is currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives/Hygienists to join our busy client in Hull. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on returns and decontamination.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and decontaminating returned products to ensure they are ready for redistribution
• Order picking and other general warehouse duties
• Ensuring all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the warehouse

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or hygienist role is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina as some heavy lifting is required
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to start immediately
