As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the stores success. You will be highly organised with experience of merchandising, stock rotation and excellent customer service. You will work effectively and efficiently to maximise income for the shop and promote the work of YMCA within the local community. You will deputise for the store manager when needed and work in an environment that presents challenge and meaning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review all corporate communications and prioritizes/plans accordingly.

Job Summary
The Assoc Warehouse Ops assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards.  Inbound positions receive products into the facility and outbound ships products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Pick large case items with material handling equipment or pick small unit of measure items and place on designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in and/or send out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility may include order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.
• Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.

Job Summary
The QIC Associate analyzes existing inventory and resolves inbound discrepancies in order to drive the operational efficiency of warehouse operations. Validates inbound shipments, creates standard inventory reports and forecasts, and leads regular cycle counts. By ensuring the quality and efficiency of inventory management, this job contributes to customer satisfaction and minimizing the facility’s expenses.

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound products from manufacturers and checks packing slips to ensure that the quantity of product matches the slips and the order placed. Enters and validates product data in the database and releases product for use in the facility.
• Develops forecasts of inventory based on customer demand, orders, and shipment speeds of various products and manufacturers.
• Places electronic orders based on inventory reporting and forecasting. Communicates with manufacturers as necessary to provide additional order information.
• Monitors inventory levels continually and runs reports from database to analyze slow-moving products, fast-moving products, and expiration date data.
• Evaluates quantity discrepancies and quality issues, such as damaged products and enters issues into database and contacts manufacturers to identify and resolve the issue and, as necessary, escalates the issue to the Manager
• Monitors expired product, returns and transfer of product

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred
• High School Diploma/ GED preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reports to the Procurement Manager and is responsible for negotiating the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services for his/her assigned hospital departments and/or commodity group.  The objective is to ensure the materials, supplies, equipment and services are acquired from the most reliable and cost effective sources that meet the needs of the customer (department).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Develops and maintains communications with internal customers and vendors to ensure the needs of the department are met. 
• Monitor results through complaints, and informal as well as formal customer satisfaction surveys.
• Procures materials, supplies, equipment and services for designated areas of the hospital within two days of receipt of purchase orders. Assists customers with researching product information, contacting vendors, obtaining price quotes, and negotiating costs.
• Composes purchase orders, verifies availability, establishes delivery dates, monitors back orders, expedites deliveries, and communicates status to customers.
• Consults with customers regarding supply needs and resolves any discrepancies.
• Coordinates product recalls, returns and expired items.
• Negotiates pricing for items with the approval of the Procurement Manager.
• Supports cost containment objectives by utilizing group purchasing contracts, encouraging product standardization, and recommending inventory containment opportunities.
• Enters data into the Material Management Information System.
• Performs as back-up for other buyers as required.
• Develops and/or recommends policies and procedures to achieve the goals and objectives of supply chain.
• Establishes and maintains professional, effective, and ethical relationships with customers and representatives of suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, and monitors quality of service provided.
• Responds to customer inquiries and/or needs within 24 hours in writing, orally, or through E-mail, copying the Procurement Manager on all responses.
• Meets with assigned departments on a periodic basis.
• Follows supply chain and hospital policies and procedures.  Recommends modifying policies or exceptions are brought to the attention of management.
• Ensures material acquisition standards, safety standards, and quality assurance criteria are met 100% of the time.
• Participates in assigned committees and acts as a supply chain liaison, interfacing with other departments as required.
• Advances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, workshops, and reading current material management literature.
• Maintains criteria established for the O.R. functions and contract management.
• Additional customer and/or commodity specific criteria will be established and published as appropriate.
• Assists Accounts Payable personnel in the processing of invoices and resolves invoice and payment problems within 45 days.
• Utilizes hospital's Values as the basis for decision making and to facilitate the division's hospital mission.
• Follows established hospital infection control and safety procedures.

Position Overview:

Sales Lead Responsibilities

In addition to Sales Associate roles of providing excellence in delivering the Client Experience, the Sales Lead is responsible for supporting the Store Manager and CO-Manager in overseeing the operational functioning of the store including, but not limited to:

• Supporting the business strategy & adjusting to effectively reach goals
• Driving revenue by proactively managing the client experience while effectively performing Manager On Duty responsibilities – Assuming the MOD role when Store Manager/Co-Manager is not on the floor
• Utilizing tools to ensure a client-focused team environment
• Driving volume & anticipating clients’ needs while communicating store metrics & individual performance to motivate associates
• Coaching Associates “in the moment” on client interactions & performance to maximize productivity & capture client opportunities
• Possessing keys to the store, performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of management (e.g., opening/closing registries, opening checkli9sts, bank deposits, filling in, recovery, cleaning, retrieves/send email, review AT Web, accepts/receives shipment
• Assuming PIN and signature privileges for register functions requiring approval
• Utilizing reports to make effective merchandising decisions & style the store in Division standards
• Leveraging tools, assessing and taking action to drive operational excellence through Stanard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through scheduling appropriately
• Complete daily tasks to ensure store runs smoothly and meets all ANN INC. standards and guidelines
• Reports to work as scheduled; records time worked accurately by using ANN INC.’s Time and Attendance system; remains flexible to the needs of the business
• Embraces fashion, understands current market trends and is able to articulate them using ANN INC. interpretations in every client interaction. Represents the brand by adhering to ANN INC.’s dress code guidelines
• Treats others fairly and with respect, valuing differences

Position Requirements:

• Client Service: Ensures that the client remains the top priority while balancing required tasks and overall store operations
• Store Operations and Organization: Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines
• Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability toimplement and maintain with ANN INC.’s guidelines
• Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error. Ability to prepare nightly deposit as necessary. Captures accurate information for all transactions including signatures, addresses, and original receipt data
• Communication: Communicates effectively with Clients, Members of Management, Buyisness Partners, and Store Associates
• Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts
• Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally. Maneuver effectively around sales floor, stock room and office

Educational Requirements and Experience:

• Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum six months Sales Associate experience with ANN INC. or equivalent experience with another retailer in a position of sales associate or higher
• Part-time or full-time managerial experience preferred

Job Summary
The Manager, Warehouse Operations Outbound oversees the building’s outbound processing, including picking, packing, and shipping to achieve operational efficiency and safety. Through successful operational and people management, this job delivers on the business unit’s short-term goals, improves profitability, and develops the business unit’s warehouse talent. This job also responds to urgent customer needs or supply disruptions to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily outbound processing operations including picking, packing, and shipping. Ensures operations are in compliance to the business unit’s standard operating procedures and implements operational changes cascaded from the Site Director.
• Directs people management processes for the warehouse, including staffing, training and development, and talent management for 30-70 staff. Recognizing the employees’ diverse skillsets and levels of experience, provides motivational leadership and champions a culture of high performance, learning, and safety.
• Responds to disruptions in outbound processing and ensures that customer commitments are fulfilled. Communicates with Sales and Customer Service teams within the business unit to understand customer concerns and makes adjustments to operations and people resources in response.
• Manages all safety and quality trainings and procedures for warehouse operations, ensuring that operations are in compliance with safety and quality regulations and best practices. Applies knowledge of warehouse safety and quality to continuously and proactively mitigate risks.
• Monitors performance, quality and productivity metrics and reports on operational outcomes to Site Director.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience preferred
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred
• Prior experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Merchandising:

• This is a support role under the Product area of responsibility for stores.
• Plans maps and executes floor sets by translating Trail Guide and floor sets into compelling and inspiring merchandise presentations
