Store Managers are required to successfully complete the Store Management Induction within the first 6 weeks of starting. This is a comprehensive 6 week programme which is completed via our online learning platform. This means that:

• The training is led by you
• You are supported throughout by your Area Manager and the Training Team
• Your induction is a blended approach with the majority of your learning being completed on the shop floor

On successful completion of your induction you will be enrolled onto your development pathway. Full training will be given for this role. You will be carrying out servicing and safety checks on hot tubs and getting involved with installing hot tubs, swim spas and saunas. Your day will start and end at our showroom in Cramlington and you will have the use of a van to travel to your daily scheduled jobs. You will need to have great customer service skills and be passionate about carrying out your work to a high standard. The role involves using hand tools to access the working areas of the hot tub, using chemicals to treat and clean the hot tub, and carrying out detailed safety checks. You will create a report following each service. Once trained you will be working on your own so must be able to use your initiative. During the working week you will also be involved with installation of hot tubs, swim spa's and saunas where you will work as part of our energetic and friendly team. Full training will be given for the role and there is further training available if you wish to grow your skills and move up the ranks.

Carry out full range of usual stores duties which includes receipt unloading, checking quantity and quality of goods delivered and the completion of necessary documentation. Ensure that adequate medical and non-medical supplies stock levels are maintained across NHCT. By conducting top-up re-ordering using a bar code reader and liaising with clinical staff to ensure that adequate agreed stock levels are always maintained A good level of awareness and understanding of Supplies terminology e.g. Transfer Point, delivery schedules. The post holder will be required to carry out input of data using appropriate computerised stock control systems & use a hand-held scanner Deal confidently and helpfully with all levels of staffing within a hospital environment and with outside suppliers.
