Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operative/Relief Driver in the Bristol area

The rate of pay is £26600 per annum

This role is full time working fixed day shift. Shift times are:
9am to 6.30pm
7.30am to 5pm (if driving)

Your Time at Work
Place goods into storage, picking stock and consolidating orders. Assist in the loading of vehicles Job to be performed in a manner which enables the Company to provide best possible service to its customers and maximise environment, health and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
- Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised.
- Receive goods and check into the warehouse accurately.
- Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting and lowering
- Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.

- Previous warehousing experience desirable
- Enthusiastic and highly driven individual
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions of management, and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner

Your new role
- 6 month Fixed term Contract with a possibility to extend.
- Establish a group procurement governance framework and establish an education programme to ensure colleagues globally understand the framework.
- Negotiate contracts working with Finance, Legal and contract owners.
Undertake all procurement activity in full accordance with the legal (legislation, commercial and contract law) environment and our sustainability requirements.
- Working closely with the Legal team to ensure contracts are reviewed in a timely manner.
- Ensure all procurement processes are fit for purpose across the company.
- Working with contract owners in advance to help with a proactive approach to renewals ahead of time.
- Monitor supplier performance in collaboration with the contract owner.

- Negotiation skills - proficient in negotiating contracts.

- Proven work experience as a Procurement specialist
