Warehouse Operatives Wanted In HARWORTH!

Logistics People are looking for Warehouse Operative/Production Operatives/Factory Operatives/Order Picker/Order Packers to join our team.

Location: Harworth, Great Bear

Working Hours:

• 4 On 4 Off 06:00 - 18:00 Shifts Available
• Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating Shifts Available

Pay rate: £11.44 - £11.94 P/hr

Position: Warehouse Operative - PPT

As a Warehouse Operative for Logistics People your role will consist of various duties including but not limited to:

• Picking and packing orders in preparation for shipping.
• Experience on PPT is desirable - full training is provided on site.
• Picking with the use of PPT and handheld scanner.
• General warehouse duties.
• Loading and unloading products for our client.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including sweeping and disposing of debris.
• Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.
• Participating in any required training sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Role summary:

The Warehouse Operative assists in the sortation, storage, loading and unloading of product within the warehouse operation. This role works on behalf of our customers to ensure they are receiving the correct freight at the correct time and upholding our promise of delivering exactly.



Key responsibilities

-Represent DX in a professional manner at all times

-Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies

-Handle all freight with care and attention

-Access and egress vehicles using the correct means

-Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight

-Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot

-Report all damages immediately to your line manager

-Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information

-Ensure that customers freight are transported, stored safely and treated with respect

-Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team

-Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately



Additional information on this role

If you currently have a FLT licence that would be great, as would experience of dealing with high volume warehousing operations.
