Forklift and Reach Operator
Location: Auckland
Full time.
12-month fixed term role with guaranteed hours per week.
Free Parking, competitive hourly pay, and excellent penal rates
Work shift is 2:00PM - 10:30PM, Monday - Friday

Due to business growth, our Logistics team in Wiri are on the hunt for experienced forklift and reach operator on a 12-month fixed term contract that is physically fit to join our team and provide logistics solutions for one of our high-profile clients.

What you'll do
You will be responsible to assist with the safe handling of freight, achieve target delivery goals, and strive to provide an on time, damage-free service.
Additional key duties below:
Load and unload all freight safely and securely.
Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
Ensure documentation accompanying freight is complete.
Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
Action bay labels, re-stacking of damaged freight, protecting leaking product.
Maintain good working relationships.
Communicate effectively within a team environment.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit, have excellent team coordinating skills, and have some experience working with freight.
Additionally, you will need:
Prior work experience in the freight industry
A strong health and safety focus
OSH approved forklift certificate
F endorsed licence (preferred but not essential)
Prior long fork and reach experience
An understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential)
