We are looking for a Fieldwork Procurement Support Executive to join the team, the main responsibilities of this role will be providing support through the use of advanced Excel and data analysis.
The role:
The Fieldwork Procurement (FP) Support Executive is a role within the Fieldwork Procurement Team (FPT) which services the Research Teams in each of MMR’s business units through procurement and administrative best practice. We obtain best value fieldwork services globally in order to allow us the best possible opportunities to be successful with client research proposals and maximise profits.
The FP Support Executive will provide administrative support to both the FP Regional Manager and wider client roster teams. Tasks may include obtaining and evaluating fieldwork Request for Quotations (RFQs) before disseminating and tracking progress. They will be the first point of contact for fieldwork suppliers and internal stakeholders, answering or redirecting project queries as required. They will be expert at using Microsoft Excel and manipulating data, further supporting with the construction, data entry and analysis preparation towards client rate card production.

Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting the creation/production of the client rate card.
- To liaise with colleagues to understand the client roster objectives and client team needs.
- Understanding the RFQ content.
- Obtaining fieldwork costs from suppliers.
- Conducting data logic checking on returned costs.
- Preparing ‘first line’ cost analysis.
- Over time develop the knowledge required to recommend choice of supplier to the research team.
- To highlight any concerns over quote submission deadlines or non-response from suppliers, as well as any feedback from the agencies that may influence the approach proposed.
- Maintenance and development of existing and future databases.
- Supporting the wider FP Team with RFQ processing and dissemination in accordance with protocols.
- Supporting the education of research teams across all regions follow correct protocols when submitting RFQs and other related requests.
- Assisting all members of the FP team with administrative tasks and advancement of technological initiatives.
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to analyse and interpret financial comparison reports and add knowledge of suppliers in order to confidently recommend solutions.
- Numerate and understands costing structures, payment terms and other financial information; is able to produce reports and summaries which are clear and accurate.
- Willingness to learn and gain an understanding of standard research methodologies and project control.
- Able to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders, whilst building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of organising and prioritising your workload.
- Show confidence and assertiveness when negotiating and advising with suppliers or internal teams.
- A natural instinct to be inquisitive in order to learn about MMR and your day-to-day role.
