Herron's is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join our team as a Warehouse Store Person. You will be actively involved and participate in the day-to-day duties of the warehouse operation, based in Willoughby. The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 5:00pm.
Duties will include:
- Picking and packing of orders to be sent
- Receive inbound goods
- Despatching orders
- Stocking shelves
- Assisting with day-to-day operations
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Manual handling and lifting required
To be successful in this position, you will be someone who is focused on the quality of their work. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and express a positive approach to team building. The successful applicant must be reliable, flexible and possess good attention to detail.
Preferred Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience will be highly regarded, however if you possess some but not all of these, we still encourage you to apply:
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced warehouse
- Forklift licence
- Firearms licence
- Good communication skills
