The Inventory Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing the inventory accounting functions of U-BIX Corporation. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records, analyzing inventory transactions, reconciling inventory accounts, and supporting the month-end close process.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and analyze inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of inventory-related financial reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory control processes
- Support the month-end close process by preparing and posting journal entries
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and ensure proper valuation of inventory
The ideal candidate for this position has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of inventory accounting principles and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory accounting or related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
