Join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor!
Are you a dedicated and conscientious team player with excellent knowledge of the airfreight industry? We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to contribute to the smooth and efficient processing of operational activities within our warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, maintaining excellent customer service, and managing warehouse staff effectively. Location: Bristol, UK (BS11 8AZ)
Working Days: Monday to Friday / 8:00 to 16:30
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and customer interactions within our Airfreight business. Your key duties will include:
* Supervising and managing warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
* Handling customer queries, complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Maintaining site security, health, and safety standards, and ensuring the orderliness of the warehouse.
* Managing the movement and organization of vehicles within the warehouse.
* Utilizing your computer skills, especially in Excel, to maintain accurate records and reports.
* Developing and improving warehouse operations to enhance productivity and service quality.
* Occasionally visiting customers to strengthen relationships and address any concerns or needs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting.
* Basic knowledge of Airfreight Industry (Desirable).
* Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
* Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licenses.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Basic geographical knowledge (Desirable),
