What You Will Achieve
Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle. You will ensure that the products arrive on time and within acceptable quality parameters meeting the desired marketing and financial objectives. Through your extensive knowledge in logistics management, you will guide the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes and system to meet customer requirements.

How You Will Achieve It
- Managing the efficient flow of materials and products within the warehouse environment.
- Ensuring constant regulatory compliance and readiness for inspections within the warehouse.
- Conducting effective training for warehouse colleagues and ensuring compliance with SOPs and OJT.
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP and EHS standards, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring inventory accuracy during material receipt, storage, and issuance.
- Managing inbound and outbound shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders, material release with Quality, and compliance with customs, excise, environmental, health, maritime, and IATA regulations.
- Handling maritime insurance claims and customer complaints, coordinating insurance matters, and implementing CAPA related to warehousing and shipping.
- Perform shipping studies to assess and optimize shipping processes, collaborate with logistics partners, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Timely preparation of materials for production and finished products for shipping, coordinating with cross-functional areas to meet inventory targets, shipment schedules, and delivery performance.
- Conduct safety and quality investigations to address warehouse-related incidents, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain high standards of product quality and integrity throughout.
- Ensuring overall safety and quality compliance for warehouse management, implementing safety regulations at all times.
- Material planning to ensure availability of materials for production, reviewing MRP requirements, and analyzing inventory status to identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory for further action.
- Manage the disposal of distressed inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining proper documentation throughout the disposal process.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Minimum Diploma in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Knowledge and experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of domestic and international logistic and government regulations.
Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Experience with inventory and material management concepts.
Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset.
Nice-to-Have
Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration and/or people development.
In depth understanding of the regulatory guidelines impacting the logistics system requirement.
Good knowledge and understanding of advanced level of system application and products.
3-5 years of related experience in a supervisory capacity in operations/warehousing preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
