Join 3 KAURS Limited, a growing company operating specialized off-license stores in the Gloucestershire & Herefordshire region. We're looking for a Assistant Retail Store Operations Manager to lead our expansion efforts, oversee existing stores, and optimize operations. If you have a passion for retail store management, inventory control, branch accounting , this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Willing to work in place of store managers or retail store staff if required ,get familiarize with store till operations, post office terminals, opening and closing of post office day balances.
• Coordinate sales and merchandise activities with stores and team leaders to ensure consistent and effective operations across all stores.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to each store, facilitating payments to suppliers.
• Regularly meet and coordinate with directors to discuss daily operations.
• Provide daily and weekly status reports and incorporate their advice and growth vision into store procedures and operations.
• Review and enhance inventory control processes in each store.
• Monitor company wide stock levels, oversee orders, stock takings, and rotation across all stores.
• Conduct regular store visits to audit operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Manage operational effectiveness and implement necessary changes.
• Ensure compliance with protocol and licensing regulations for order status, shipments, returns, and exchanges.
• Manage buyer operations and provide concise information regarding order status and deliveries.
• Gather required data for branch accounting and profitability analysis.
• Oversee cash consolidation from all stores, manage banking transactions, and reconcile weekly takings.
• Report any discrepancies to management and relevant stores, take corrective actions, and implement procedures to prevent business losses.
Qualifications:
· Certificate of higher education or university degree or equivalent with 5 years of significant experience in Sales and Retail operations management, of which at least 3 years on a management position.
· Willing to travel extensively , the role involves 2 or 3 trips to all company owned stores within a 50 mile radius.
· Weekend work where necessary.
· Hindi & Punjabi language knowledge an added bonus (not mandatory)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: £10.45 - £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
