Games Workshop has an exciting remote opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing Team. This is a remote based position from the UK, Spain, France or Italy. Language requirements are French & English to a proficient level.
Are you passionate about how social media connects customers with brands? Do you enjoy interacting with highly engaged fans and keeping online social spaces inclusive and exciting places for our community? If so, Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our Global Marketing Team.
As our Social Media Specialist for the French market, you should possess professional experience in working with social media platforms and analytics tools, along with a proven track record of managing and/or moderating social channels for national or global brands. Additionally, proficiency in both written and spoken English and French is required.
You will work closely with our UK-based global social media team, receiving support from both our social media manager and the wider team. As a remote worker and language expert, your proactive approach, initiative, and adaptability will be crucial.
Your key responsibilities will include generating ideas for new content by drawing inspiration from the community and leading non-category brands, preparing content briefs for the marketing studio, and posting scheduled content according to the social media planner. You will monitor and manage comments and reactions on our social channels, escalating concerns when content underperforms or when there is a high level of negativity. Additionally, you will conduct social listening for specific campaigns, topics, or accounts, monitor performance, and provide regular analytics data to optimise content and contribute to daily, weekly, and campaign reporting. As part of the global social media team, you will own and implement content and platform strategies in your region to ensure Games Workshop engages with customers where they are.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships with different teams, including a UK based team. Having an existing interest in and knowledge of our exciting universes, including Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40,000, and related games, novels, and miniature ranges, will be a definite advantage.
