About the role:

NHP are currently seeking an experienced Events Coordinator / Executive Assistant to seamlessly manage executive administrative tasks while coordinating high-quality events that reflect the company's standards and values.
Reporting to the Managing Director / CEO, your responsibilities will include:

EVENT PLANNING AND COORDINATION

o Meticulously planning, organizing, and executing corporate events, meetings, conferences, ensuring all events are aligned with the company's objectives and branding. Ensure that every detail is accounted for and that each event runs smoothly.
o Arranging and coordinating services, such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport, and social events for participants, ensuring that all logistical aspects are seamlessly integrated.
o Organising registration of participants to manage attendance efficiently and effectively.
o Negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget, ensuring that all financial aspects are managed prudently.
o Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders, thereby maintaining quality control and ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
o Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of event budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial guidelines.

EXECUTIVE SUPPORT

o Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director / CEO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and handling confidential information.
o Communication Management: Act as the primary point of contact between the Managing Director / CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth and timely communication.
o Document Preparation: Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence for the Managing Director / CEO.
o Meeting Coordination: Schedule, coordinate, and manage logistics for executive meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
o Office Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the executive office, including office supply management and liaising with other departments.
o Special Projects: Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the Managing Director / CEO, contributing to the strategic initiatives of the company.

Ideally you will have / be:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Event Management
• Previous experience in Event Coordination / planning & EA support at a CEO level
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation and financial management
• Excellent organisational & time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite including MS Word, MS Powerpoint & MS Excel

As a senior video editor for Homes.com (a subsidiary of CoStar Group), you'll be part of a team crafting stories that give home buyers a street-level window into the lifestyle and vibe of neighborhoods throughout the country as they shop for their new homes. And you're helping agents grow their business by connecting with new clients.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a critical thinker and a creative problem solver. You'll draw on experience in commercial shoots, documentary-style storytelling and marketing content to create engaging, persuasive, and entertaining visuals for all corners of Homes.com. Multiple rounds of changes and feedback are part of the job, so adaptability is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit high-quality short-form and long-form video projects.
• Capable of editing with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Edit See-N-Say video content with VO and B-roll.
• Edit on-cam interview content into cohesive storytelling short and long-form content.
• Edit marketing, docu-style, multi-cam post, greenscreen, and location-style videos.
• Proficiency in animation and motion graphics creation through After Effects, Motion, and others.
• Ability to mentor junior-level editors.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting common software and hardware issues.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the CoStar Group’s video content team, writers, producers, architectural photographers, and videographers to complete department goals.
• Process, categorize, and log footage, interviews, and stock-gathering content.
• Edit multiple interviews down to cohesive marketing pieces with b-roll storytelling.
• Occasional quality assurance of junior team members work with improvement notes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of editing experience, preferably at an agency, brand, or cable network.
• Mastery of non-linear editing software (Primarily Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition, but may also include Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro)
• Eye for consistent quality and attention to detail following style guides and brand guidelines.
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in working with standard and LOG footage from various codecs including h.264, MOV, B-raw, R3D REDCODE Raw, Canon Raw, and ProRes.
• Proficiency with color spaces (Wide Gamut, SDR, HDR, Rec709, and BT2020), LUTs, color correction, and grading using waveform, histograms, and vector scope data.
• Strong proficiency in working with voice-over files to clean and master audio files including equalizing and compressors.
• Proficiency in working with transcoding footage and proxy generation.
• Learn to edit content on brand and within style guidelines.
• Visual storytelling with and without spoken material.
• Archive video projects through various linear editing platforms according to department standards.
