There will be opportunities to work with adults as appropriate. They will work within a multi-disciplinary team and will undertake a link worker support role for a caseload of patients, and where appropriate, their carers/families and local professionals. A proportion of the work is undertaken on an 'outreach' basis throughout the UK. The link worker role will involve a combination of face-to face visits at Ropewalk House, home and school where appropriate, as well as virtual appointments for both the assessment and post cochlear implant pathway. They will contribute to NAIP initiated research and audit projects and to the team's teaching and training commitments. The post holder typically carries out clinical work for 80% of the time and is expected to update their own professional knowledge.

Applicants must hold a full driving licence and be prepared to travel to patients' homes, schools and inter-agency meetings if required. NHS Terms and conditions apply.
