More detail about the role We are a busy 24 bedded emergency surgical assessment unit caring for emergency admissions in the specialities of colorectal, urology and gynaecology including early pregnancy complications. Within the ward we have a separate ambulatory assessment unit, taking admissions from the emergency department and GP referrals and a surgical emergency outpatient clinic and our staff work within all of these areas. KGV is a great ward for learning and developing your skills and competence and have an experienced and supportive team who are passionate about the care that we deliver. Previous gynaecology experience in assessment units is preferable but not essential. A current and valid NMC registration is required for this nursing post. Full or part time hours available. Working Pattern: All posts include a commitment to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the service.
