About the role

Through a range of approaches, including innovative learning and technical training, rotation through various teams, formalized mentoring, a continuous feedback loop, and exposure to senior leaders, our Early Career program offers unparalleled development opportunities for our diverse early career talent.
Rotations are designed to provide analysts with a broad overview of the Individual Retirement business, while affording opportunities to develop key skills through short-term projects and other work assignments. Rotational assignments are typically made to these functional teams based upon the analyst’s profile and current business needs:
- Annuity Pricing
- Product Development and Delivery
- Marketing
- Data Analytics & Reporting
- Strategy
- Customer Insight
What we’re looking for:
Corebridge seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.
We also look for a diverse background of experience, culture and thought. Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a record of successful teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Candidate for bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, accounting, finance, or another quantitative field.
- Degree to be received no later than June 2024.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, resourceful and capable of working with ambiguity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Committed to learning new skills and open to work within different areas.
- Thinking outside of the box and seeks improvement of existing processes
- Additional technology skills, such as Python, Power BI, VBA, SQL, or C++ preferred.
Required:
- Desire to learn about and engage with various roles and responsibilities of a life and retirement insurance company
- Minimum 3.2 grade point average (unofficial transcript required upon application).
- Candidate for bachelor’s degree to be received no later than June 2024
- Ability to work 40 hours per week; 2-3 days in the office per week
Locations:
Individual Retirement Analyst positions are available in Houston, TX, and Woodland Hills, CA.
