Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen facilities and plan all meals & assist with prep
- Order supplies and keep records of spending and compliance
- Monitor sanitation practices ensuring to follow standards and regulations
- Prepare, produce and present food in volume for a small group of residents
- Be capable of working alone, but able to communicate well
- Keep Health and Safety at heart of what you're doing
What you bring:
- 2 years of experience in hands-on cooking
- Experience of working to strict food hygiene standards
- Experience in following recipes and open to cooking many cuisines

The roles will be made permanent if all goes well after around 13 weeks
You must be comfortable working in the probation hostel (this is safe and secure) and you MUST be reliable and in this for the long term
The pay rate for the first 13 weeks probation is £10.42 + paid holiday or £11.68 with no paid holiday
After the 13 weeks when taken on direct the rate is £10.42 + paid holiday + an attendance bonus of an additional £1 for every hour worked paid quarterly (qualified after 3 months service)
