Platform Property Care has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi Skill Carpenter based in Solihull and Coventry to join our Responsive Repairs team to help us maintain and improve our homes.
What could you be doing?
You will be ensuring our customer’s homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard. Carpentry will be your main focus, but experience in other trades will help us deliver repairs as needed.
The role is varied, and no two days are the same! It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you’ll have the support of a great team!
We want somebody who can:
A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Some things we need from you:
• Experience of delivering Multi Trade work,
• You will be qualified to at least NVQ L2 Carpentry
• You will have good organisational skills and experience of keeping jobs on track
• And the personal drive to ensure works are completed quickly, efficiently and delivered right first time
• A full driving licence is essential as this is a mobile role, a van with fuel card is provided
• As you will be working within Customers' homes this role requires a DBS check.
There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
This role is for a team based in the following towns so you will need to live close to or in these areas: Solihull and Coventry.
