A Full time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family in St. Albans, Hertfordshire to help them in looking after their two school-aged children whilst maintaining the cleanliness of their property. The nanny-housekeeper will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license is required for this role and a car can be provided.

A valid first aid qualification essential for this position.

Working hours: Term time from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Holidays from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, around 45 to 55 hours per week

Duties include:

supervising homework
preparing meals for the children
helping with bath and bedtime routine
wiping down the kitchen surfaces and cooking utensils after use
organising the laundry and ironing
vacuuming
mopping
dusting
polishing
running errands and doing groceries
changing the bedsheets
taking the children to activities and playdates
making sure the bedroom and bathroom are clean

Following a visit by one of their Test & Inspection Engineers, Electricians have the important task of completing any upgrades / repairs needed. • Conduct electrical remedial works in commercial and industrial environments.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.

• Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience 

• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.

• NVQ Level 3

• 18th Edition

• In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
