We are now looking to recruit a CSCS certified Cleaner / Construction Cleaning Operative, to work within our construction cleaning division.

You must have a valid, in-date, CSCS card (Construction Skill Certificate Scheme) to be considered for the role.

The successful applicant will work on our clients construction sites located in Bristol and the surrounding region (transport available).

This role is available in both part-time and full-time hours.

Daily, you will be working alone or alongside a small team of professional cleaning staff. The successful applicant for this position will be required to undertake the following duties as part of their role:

General construction cleaning to new build houses (build cleaning and sparkle cleaning) – cleaning newly installed kitchens and bathrooms; clearing and wiping dust, debris and paint from internal surfaces; vacuuming and moping.

To maintain a hygienic and clean condition of the Catering Department including associated areas, equipment and utensils. c) Portering 1. To sort, pack and deliver Cook-Freeze meals, fresh and ambient goods and all associated catering items to Wards on a daily/weekly/as need basis. To ensure compliance with Trust Policy and Legislation. 2. To deliver/collect Function Catering items to various areas of the Unit as required ensuring compliance with Trust Policy and Legislation. 3. Collection and delivery between wards and departments of post, stores, laundry, pharmacy items, medical gases, pathological specimens and furniture and equipment. 4. Post duties including the collection, sorting and delivery of all postal items. Other Duties 1. General messenger duties 2. Report maintenance faults to the Help Desk/Supervisor. 3. Report all sightings of pests to the Help Desk/Supervisor. 4. Ensure all information appertaining to Patients and staff is kept confidential. 5. Any other duties as may reasonably be requested. Health & Safety 1. Making and management of appointments using the practices clinical computer system. Taking histories and adding information to our on-line triage systems. Dealing with patients and the general public's enquiries, taking accurate messages and channelling them to the appropriate person. Exercise tact and understanding when dealing with patients and the public. Deal with difficult patients/situations in a professional manner. To be aware of the in house complaints procedure. Fulfilling clerical and office procedures with particular reference to reception work and computer duties. Preparing documents for clinical sessions such as surgeries and visits. Locating patients records and filing where necessary. Registering new patients, updating computer details as and when necessary, printout of patient summaries. Processing the repeat prescriptions using the practices clinical computer system. Daily scanning of incoming post using the Docman system to workflow to Clinicians or other staff and also to attach to patients EPR (Electronic Patient Record). Tasks and workflow actioned daily as requested. Collect all monies on behalf of the Practice in respect of private medicals/overseas visitors etc, record and store in a safe and secure area. Provide clerical support to other areas of the practice as and when required. Liaise with colleagues regarding the days workload and hand over clear and concise information to colleagues on change of shift/end of day. To be a key holder and lock and unlock the surgery, activating or deactivating alarms as appropriate. Ensuring the building is left secure.
