As a Mobile Cleaner at Sodexo in Lancashire, You'll deliver cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. What you’ll do:
- Ensure delivery of agreed Periodic cleaning tasks onsite – Full carpet clean, clean of bedroom carpets in vacant rooms (on request), full clean of all hard floor surfaces inclusive of – toilets,restrooms,kitchen areas, tea points, breakout areas, corridors. – Full clean of “reachable” high level areas i.e door frame tops
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure responsibility is taken for all maintenance/compliance of company vehicle.
- Liase with on site staff Sodexo/Client to arrange building access ensuring buildings are fully secured on departure as necessary.
- Request hotels as necessary gaining approval for overnight stays when required.
- Order chemicals/Equipment via line manager as required.
- Ensure full PPE is worn during the completion of all tasks by yourself and colleagues
- Report any faults with equipment immediately and directly to line manager.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, accidents, near misses as per process also advising line manager.
- Share planned schedules with Regional managers and line manager and advise of any changes.
- Support the wider team with any cleaning issues if necessary as instructed by line manager.
- Endeavour where possible to work in partnership with colleague when booking leave to take where possible at same time *Please note desirable due to logistics of two man team*
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable
- Full UK driving license
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction
