The Role – Industrial Cleaning Contract Manager
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced, hardworking, and enthusiastic Industrial Contract Cleaning Manager to work with our Specialist Cleaning Team at our clients in the Stoke / Stafford Area
This is a Full-Time position; you would need to be flexible and able to work in our industrial teams across a number of sites supporting industrial cleaning and shutdown works to large scale industrial plants
Duties/Key Responsibilities
As a hands-on working Manager, you are required to provide professional cleaning services to our clients in an efficient, professional, and safe manner.
• Ensure the cleaning service offered is professional and to the highest standards at all times
• Be able to manage and perform a variety of duties that will include; jet washing, confined space cleaning and other specialist cleaning duties
• Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed
• Provide exceptional customer service to the client
• Liaise with the client contact when necessary
• Monitor cleaning equipment, materials and uniform and place monthly orders
• Control holiday and sickness cover
• Complete timesheets and work records
• Assist in the recruitment, inducting and training of new staff
Experience & Skills Required
• Some of the work involves managing staff carrying out physical labour and conditions can be uncomfortable and may involve confined space entry and working from a height.
• Jet washing
• Tank and silo cleaning – removing the build-up of residue on the internal sides and discharges areas
• Paint Plant cleaning and the use of Fork Truck
• Using a Foam Cleaning low pressure jet wash spray machine
• Using a Dry Ice blaster which is propelled at supersonic speed, to lift off debris
• Operate cleaning equipment in accordance with the company's health and safety procedures.
• Use cleaning materials in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
Desirable Criteria
• Prior experience in a managerial/supervisory role
• Manufacturing background
• Industrial cleaning background
• Microsoft skills
• Report writing skills
• Full UK Driver’s License
• Good knowledge and experience in cleaning services and cleaning equipment.
