The Role
We are seeking a General Manager to join our Senior Leadership team here at EstimateOne. Our business spans three key audiences - Subcontractors (Subbies), Builders and Suppliers. This role would see you playing a pivotal role leading the Buillder audience.
As a General Manager leading the Builder stream, you will:
- Author, own and effectively communicate a documented Strategy that is compelling and aligned to the broader EstimateOne Strategy
- Have end-to-end segment accountability working with stakeholders to build a cohesive commercial strategy across Pricing, Experience, GTM, Support, Marketing & Sales that defines EstimateOne’s offering and value proposition in the market.
- Own and drive a cross-functional annual plan that drives high growth revenue performance from our 'Builder' audience stream - across acquisition, engagement, retention, service & effective monetisation.
- Drive network value across the business, by ensuring that the Strategy maximizes value and participation across other audience streams.
- Ensure a well designed Stream organisational unit: making quarterly capital allocation requests; deploying capital against the plan; and designing the organisational substructure, congruent with EstimateOne’s organisational design principles and driving alignment in teams.
- Ensure strong goals exist at all times for the Outcomes listed below, over multiple time horizons, congruent with the level of ambition of the organisation and the audience Strategy. You’ll ensure that actuals against such goals are reported accurately, clearly and timely to the wider organisation.
- Ensure that insights, feedback and market changes are well communicated back to the wider organisation.
- Collaborate with product teams and provide guidance on product roadmaps decisions to maximise GTM sequencing, impact and traction

- Financial metrics: Revenue, Costs, Profit
- SaaS Portfolio metrics: Churn, Lifetime Value, CAC/LTV, Monthly Recurring Revenue,
- Customer Satisfaction: Net Promoter Score, Product Engagement
- Ecosystem Engagement metrics: Data Points & Participants
- Team value metrics: Team Engagement Score
About you
You’ll need to be confident enough to put forward your ideas and why you think they are valuable in an environment that places strong weight on its value of being “Forthright and Frank”.
You’ll need to have led in an organisation or independant cross functional team, and loved the ability to have an influence plus get your hands dirty doing the work. You’ll be innovative, flexible and be motivated by driving business results via delivery of great customer experiences.
Ideally you have exposure to, or interest in the construction industry.
