ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Finance Associate to join the Finance team and contribute to a fast-paced team with ample opportunity to grow with the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Periodic financial closing and reporting (monthly, quarterly and annually), ensure accurate and timely submission of group financial reports;Preparation of monthly journals and balance sheet schedules
In charge of consolidation, AR billing process
Reviewer role for AP entries
Partnering with SCM on PR/PO/delivery related matters
Performing flux analysis on financial reports
- Preparation of quarterly and yearly income tax computations and ensure compliance with relevant tax authorities
- Preparation of annual financial statements (including preparation of XBRL)
- Act as key liaise person with external auditors
- Support in financial areas and work with cross-functional teams
- In-charge of projects such as process improvement and/or system migration as assigned
- Review submissions to governmental and other regulatory bodies (i.e. GST submission, government statistics surveys, grants claim preparation) and
- All ad-hoc tasks as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field
- Minimum 3-4 years of Big 4 audit experience
- Strong understanding of accounting standards
- Proactive, experience in problem solving and analysis
- Able to work independently and possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in start-up environment
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in financial reporting for public listed companies will be a plus
- Industry experience will be a plus
- Meticulous, organised and attention to detail
