Corebridge Financial Global Legal, Compliance, Regulatory and Government Affairs department is comprised of attorneys and other professionals providing high quality advisory and transactional support with integrity and objectivity across all parts of the organization. The team ensures an operating environment that minimizes legal, regulatory and reputational risks and complies with all laws and regulations and Corebridge Financial policies & procedures. This is a global, diverse and award-winning team that has been recognized for its leadership and innovative solutions. About the role
As a Senior Risk Informatics and Monitoring Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to address compliance risks within our organization. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts to design, build, and optimize data-driven tools and processes. Support the Corebridge Compliance Testing program with the new automated testing portfolio of projects. Design, develop, and maintain automated tools and workflows for risk assessment and monitoring. Utilize technical skills and programming experience to create custom solutions, focusing on tools such as R, Python, KNIME, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Collaborate on data integration projects and build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks and areas for process improvement. Prepare clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations. Assist in developing machine learning and AI models for risk prediction and mitigation.
Specific Responsibilities
- Support the Corebridge Compliance Testing program with the new automated testing portfolio of projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tools and workflows for risk assessment and monitoring.
- Utilize technical skills and programming experience to create custom solutions, focusing on tools such as R, Python, KNIME, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Collaborate on data integration projects and build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks and areas for process improvement.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Assist in developing machine learning and AI models for risk prediction and mitigation.
What you need to know
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on data analytics and process automation.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages or low code platforms such as R, Python, SQL, KNIME, MS Power*, etc., and experience with data manipulation.
- Experience with databases (SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, etc.).
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to engineer creative and efficient solutions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the audit, compliance, or regulatory field.
- Advanced programming skills and data analysis expertise.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and requirements.
- Previous experience working as part of a center of excellence team
