Are you a caring and passionate qualified Teaching Assistant? Do you want to work as part of a vibrant school community, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact, surrounded by superb pupils, supportive parents, and a collaborative team who want the best for everyone? Then join our fantastic team at Longwell Green (an extremely popular school, achieved very well in OFSTED and is held in high regard in the community and the county) to support an individual pupil with school based anxiety who is in Year Five. (Matrix Funded - 32.5hrs) The child is kind, caring, very well behaved, and has strong friendships. They are eager to learn and will benefit from tailored, consistent approaches to reduce their anxiety over the long term. The child experiences school based anxiety, particularly during transition from home to school, which affects their ability to access their education. They require support and strategies to manage their anxiety and engage successfully with learning. They respond well to support, praise, and a personalised approach, which will help them overcome their challenges and make strong progress. With focused help during transitions and in class support, they will be able to engage fully, which is something the child is keen to do. We have an excellent relationship with the family, and we have all seen significant progress already in the child’s wellbeing. We are committed to continuing this successful approach to support this lovely child.
