Thorn Baker are currently working with a modern and exciting FM company who are looking for an experienced Area Cleaning Manager in the North Kent area to manage around 20 sites for an educational client portfolio.

They are a vibrant, exciting, fast-growing company based in Central London, but operate across the UK. They have a very strong brand reputation and currently provide the services in Fm and construction.

Our client is due to at least double their size over the coming years and are looking for the right managers to be at the forefront of their client growth
Ideally you will be based in the North Kent or Grays area in order to best service your client sites , the sites range from 2-25 Cleaners and some have Site supervisors in place who will report into you. The role will involve out of normal hours working, therefore, flexibility regarding working hours is essential to provide effective management
As an Area Manager it is essential that you have a high level of organisation and time management skills as well as having a can do attitude. Building and maintaining client relationships will be an important part of your role. A degree of flexibility is required due to some sites needing to be visited outside of the normal working day.
