SRP Cleaning Group Ltd is seeking a Area Manager who has a proven track record of creating and maintaining highly productive work environments, while being highly effective in communication and interpersonal relations. The successful candidate will also be comfortable with working autonomously within a matrix structure of management and possess strong financial analytical skills. The ideal candidate for this position will be an exceptional leader who will be an excellent facilitator and decision maker, and has the ability to self-manage through the use of team members.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the day to day operations of the business.
Manage a team of cleaning staff and administration staff.
Maintain good customer service.
Hire and train new staff.
Conduct staff meetings.
Determine staffing needs.
Work with suppliers on a regular basis.
Secure new business contracts.
Manage budgets.
Conduct regular stock checks.
Must be able to use computers and software confidently.
Attend management meetings.
Support the implementation of company wide policies and procedures.
Responsibilities will vary from time to time.

Your role will also involve meeting the Company Director and other members of the management team on a weekly basis. You will also meet with the Company Director on a one to one basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated, reliable and customer focused Cleaner / Cleaning Operative to join our team based near Abergavenny, NP15, 2YD.

Job Type: Permanent - Part Time.

Pay Rate: £12.11 per hour.

Working Hours: 37.5Hrs per week, 8Hrs per day, Monday to Friday, 06:00Hrs to 14:00Hrs.

Start Date: Immediately.

Overview of Role:

As a cleaning operative you will be required to undertake cleaning duties across the site ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & safety Regulations.
(The CQC is the body which makes sure Health service`s provide people with safe effective and compassionate care).

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

-Make sure that our customers have a better day, every day by ensuring that your assigned areas are clean, presentable and serviceable at all times.
-Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the Hospital, in line with operational standards.
-Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
-To carry out/ensure all duties required in connection with the cleaning and waste collection within designated premises are completed.
-This job can be physically demanding and can involve some lifting from time-to-time.
-Comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting etc..) ensuring the service meets high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness.
-To organise and assist with laundry duties and rotas (where required).
-Using and storing of cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
-To have responsibility for your area and ensure it meets the high standard set.
-Contribute to maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and customers on the site.
-Ensure that you comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
-Any reasonable requests from your line manager applicable to your role.
