The VA Section Chief in the Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) will lead the GIM Section at Zablocki VA Medical Center, including GIM Faculty Primary Care Clinics, Internal Medicine Residents' Clinics, and Inpatient Medicine Wards Teams. The Section Chief will also maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). The Section Chief must be an excellent clinician who possesses strong leadership and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex environment while maintaining collaboration with an academic health system. The VA Section Chief will have an MD or DO degree with prior leadership experience and an established career in clinical practice. The VA Section Chief will be defined as faculty member in the General Internal Medicine Division of the Department of Medicine and must be ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and be eligible for faculty appointment at MCW. Faculty rank will be determined based on experience and accomplishments.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
