The Urologist is an integral member of the Surgery Section medical staff. You are responsible for performing urological procedures on patients referred to the Surgery Service by Primary Care and Specialty providers.

• Performing initial histories and physical examinations on inpatients and outpatients.
• Providing ongoing outpatient and inpatient care for assigned patients.
• Screening outpatients to determine need for further care.
• Prescribing medications within defined scope of practice.
• Ordering diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests, x-rays, electrocardiograms (EKG's).
• Carrying out health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Drawing blood specimens for testing and performing other comparable lab procedures as needed.

• Providing consultative services in the Emergency Department.
• Sharing night call and weekends with other urologists.

• Providing age-appropriate care for the adult and geriatric patient.

Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing oversight of the Women Veterans Program and working closely with the Women Veteran Medical Director to form the foundation of the women's health team at the facility level. Serving as Chair of the Women Veterans health Committee at the facility level.
• Providing expertise and guidance specific to women Veterans for facility-wide strategic goals and objective and executing comprehensive planning for women's health that improves the overall quality of care provided to women Veterans and achieves program goals and outcomes.

The department of OBGYN at the Banner University has been a leader for treating high-risk pregnancies with maternal and/or fetal complications. Banner University has employed and trained maternal fetal medicine specialists since the 1970’s. The OBGYN ultrasound department was formed in the late 1970’s to support the MFM department in diagnosis of fetal anomalies and perform research in fetal growth patterns, fetal Doppler studies and fetal echocardiography. In the mid 1980’s the lead sonographer, and two MFM’s (Carolyn F Anderson, Dr. Kathryn L Reed and Dr. Lewis Shenker) published one of the first texts in fetal echocardiography.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to the obstetric and gynecologic patient population.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs maternal fetal medicine high-risk obstetric ultrasounds working with on-site perinatologists to include: first trimester ultrasounds, detailed anatomy level one & level two ultrasounds in the second and third trimester, transvaginal ultrasounds, maternal and fetal doppler studies, BPP, and 3D ultrasounds. Ultrasounds on patients with high BMI in pregnancy, scanning multiples, Fetal Echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency/Nasal Bone are within the scope of this sonographer.

2. Performs procedures including fetal echocardiography and ultrasound guided amniocentesis/CVS by following and verifying referring providers’ orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.

3. Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.

4. Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.

5. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies if applicable.

6. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies.

7. Accountable for the ethical, legal, professional and certification responsibilities related to the practice. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all work information.

8. Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.

9. Independently performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols to patients. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires national certification in the area of specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. BLS certification required.

Nuchal Translucency and CLEAR cervix certification required as well as Obstetrics/Gynecology certification. Successful candidate must obtain Nuchal Translucency, CLEAR, and OBGYN certifications within six (6) months of hire date. Clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience working with an on-site perinatologist and one year of experience in MFM ultrasounds and procedures. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified in Fetal Echocardiography (ARDMS) and Uterine Artery Doppler Studies.

This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The RN will be handling triage calls, assisting providers with peer to peer reviews, maintaining implant registries, maintaining surgery schedule, assist with valve clinic if needed, medication proposals, pre and post procedure calls, working one on one with providers and device reps to provide patient care and information.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. • Complies and enforce adoption of Solution Manager, Charm Management, JIRA,  and other standard tools.
• Provide leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management.
• Identify gaps between requirements and current solution and develop options and estimates for closing the gaps.
• Effectively communicate with IT partners and business stakeholders
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to manage the execution of Software Delivery deliverables.
• Ensure all critical SCE processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurring incidents.
• Provide support in preparing and conducting prioritization meetings (for enhancements and defects) with the various functional partners.
• Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction to stakeholders.
• Have an enterprise perspective and help others to understand broad implications of decision making.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications, presentation skills, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions.
• Ability to convert technical/functional specifications into test scenarios and test scripts
• Accountable for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings on the SAP Pharma Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in related field, preferred.
• Functional expertise in the areas of Supply Chain Execution (SCE) preferred
• Experience in designing solutions in SAP and configuring SAP MM, FI and SAP SD module preferred
• Experience in implementing SAP in large scale implementations preferred
• Strong configuration experience in SAP MM and SD Module to support the following functions – Inventory management, Transportation configuration, Outbound deliveries to WMS, Goods Receipt, Customer/Supplier Returns, Receiving, ASN, Supplier EDI, 3PL preferred
• Experience in integrating SAP with EDI, Manhattan, and E-Commerce Platforms preferred
• Strong integration skills with SAP modules SD, MM, FI and with external ERP systems preferred
• Hands on experience gathering requirements and creating functional specs preferred
• Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred.
• Ability to navigate through the SDLC process preferred
• Strong SAP integration experience with WMS systems like Manhattan or other WMS systems is preferred.
