Management Accountant

As part of the Warner Finance team, you will work closely with all areas of Finance and the wider business, supporting the Warner business to achieve its financial goals and targets. The role is primarily to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including reconciliations, consolidation of financial statements, and compliance with accounting standards.
What will you be doing?
- Reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and support for all balances.Highlighting as required, areas of risk and opportunity against budgets and forecasts
- Processing month end accounting transactions into the general ledger for accruals and prepayment
- Conducting variance analysis to identify discrepancies in financial results and assist in providing explanations and recommendations for improvement
- Helping maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and support for all transactions
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the close, consolidate, and report process
- Providing assistance during external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
- Assisting team members as required in the areas of fixed asset and capital project reconciliation
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management to support the accounting team
What are we looking for?
- Fully qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a strong understanding of management accounting principles
- Experience of working with external audit teams as part of the statutory audit process
- Excel (comfortable with utilising formulas to manipulate data to add efficiency into processing time and reporting)
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting system Unit 4 ERPx, and supporting systems i.Buy,
- Concur an advantage.
You will be an effective communicator with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders. You will also possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy, and be able to demonstrate excellent team player attributes.
