Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Assistant in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Keogh Barracks, Ash Vale, Surrey, GU12 5RQ

As a General Assistant, you will mostly be working front of house. You will support day to day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting with cleaning in both front and back of house areas. You will provide excellent customer service at all times and be reporting into the General Manager on site.

- We are offering a full time, permanent position. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, over a variety of 5 days including some occasional weekend work. Shift times range from 6am – 8pm. The hourly rate is £11.44.

What you'll be doing:
- You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
- Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.
Experience
- Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
- For this role you must be 18+
- Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role
- Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
