Here at Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, which includes providing them with temporary accommodation.
As the Maintenance Operative Apprentice your role is key in assissting our skilled Maintenance Operatives. This role requires ensuring all requested repairs, be that reactive or proactive and pre planned (via manager)are carried out to the required standard and within our SLA deadlines, you will be working with a team of skilled Property Maintenance Operatives who will support and guide you whilst learning a skilled future & career.
Serco will enrol you onto their Apprenticeship Scheme to teach you the required skills for a Property Maintenance Operative.

What you need to do the job
You will need a willingness and ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK (a valid UK driver’s licence is essential). All offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office).

Working pattern
- Mon to Fri 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00 to meet the operational needs of the business.
