About the Role
Base Location: Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Petersfield, Aldershot or Basingstoke
Salary: £37,075 - £43,063 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
As a Voltage Complaints Technician you will be working on the LV, HV & EHV network, to resolve ongoing network issues identified through ESQCR regulations.
The Voltage Complaints Technician will undertake investigations, customer liaison and planning of works to resolve technical issues in line with policy and regulation standards.
Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work diligently to restore power to external customers as quickly as possible and then ensure a full repair is completed and the job is closed.
- Demonstrate safety as the number one value by considering it throughout every aspect of work, delivering resource assignment and work in the safest possible manner.
- Respond to customer enquiries around continuity supply on the network to ensure reliable performance and network security to meet regulatory and business plan objectives.
- Protect the environment and surrounding work areas to ensure the Company's reputation is safeguarded.
- Respond to emergency events including severe weather as required.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience of carrying out technical investigations and reports, along with IOSH Managing Safety and City & Guilds 2339.
- Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) and New Roads & Streetworks Act (NRSWA) certification.
- Operational Safety Rules and Operational Authorisations Cat 1 - 5, 10.
- Category 7 authorisations **Must be achieved in first 12 months after appointment.
- Cat 12 & Cat 14 authorisations **Working towards within role.
Due to the nature of this role a full UK drivers licence is required.
