• Performing routine Examination, Inspection, Maintenance and Testing on plant and equipment including:

Due to growth this successful company are now looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join the team. Operating across various wastewater sectors they have developed an excellent client base with a strong and recognised brand. This role would appeal to a CAD Engineer looking to broaden his or her skills with project engineering experience to enable the successful design and delivery of a project from start to finish and witness the inhouse manufacture, installation and commissioning.

The CAD Technician Job:

Producing aeration pipework general arrangement drawings and manufacturing drawings
Project manage the design and to procure items to be included in the system
Reporting to the Lead CAD Technician
Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D (Autodesk and Solidwords)
Working alongside the Project, Engineering and Operation teams to eliminate or reduce risk during the design stages
Create high-quality detailed technical drawings, plans and general arrangements
Production and management of 3D models
Liaise with other team members in a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve design solutions to the client’s specification
Liaise with clients and carry out occasional site visits and surveys to gather information to progress designs
Organising final production of the as-built model and drawings
The successful CAD Technician will have:

Ideally looking for a person with experience in the water industry with a mechanical or structural background
Competent in the use of Solid Works or AUTOCAD Inventor software
Well organised
Have a knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to create and read technical drawings
Ideally have appropriate experience and a technical understanding of M&E requirements within the water industry, but not essential

We now have a vacancy for a full time Decontamination Technician / Driver to work with the Hospital’s Sterilization and Disinfection Unit (HSDU)at the Royal Oldham Hospital, which is part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

The HSDUis responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of invasive reusable medical devices. The HSDU is a purpose-built facility at the Royal Oldham Hospital and serves as the sterile services department for the organisation and beyond, ensuring that medical devices are made safe for use between each patient. The service is quality-driven, in line with the departments ISO 13485 Accreditation.

The successful candidate will undertake decontamination science duties to assist in providing a specialised decontamination and resupply of medical devices service, contributing to the clinical care of the patient. Under supervision, you will support the day-to-day operation of decontamination services, to meet the demands of the department’s workload.
• To undertake decontamination science duties and assist (under supervision) the workforce of Decontamination Production Managers and Supervisors, in providing a specialised decontamination of medical devices service contributing to the clinical care of the patient.
• To carry out the receipt, disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, packing and sterilization of reusable medical devices. Record all tasks in the Healthcare Science Information Systems (tracking and tracing) database.
• Work in accordance with the Department’s Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management Systems.
• To plan your own workload with limited supervision.
• The role involves exposure to blood and body fluids.

This role involves portering and driving duties on a cover basis; performing multi-drop deliveries and collections to hospital and other internal and external clinical settings.

You MUST be licenced to drive a 3.5tn vehicle (Luton van) with manual gear box; with at least 3 years driving experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct vehicle servicing, ensuring all checks are performed to a high standard.
Perform diagnostics to identify and rectify vehicle issues.
Carry out general repairs, including brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems.
Assist in the preparation for MOT testing, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and communicate effectively with customers.
