Arcus FM are looking for a night shift Water Leak Technician, on a permanent basis, to carry out water leak solutions on refrigeration equipment in all clients stores around Portsmouth, Southampton & the wider areas!

• Salary: £28,972 per annum
• Night shoft allowance: £3,595 per annum
• Van (with option for personal use from day 1) and fuel card

You will be responsible for carrying out work to clear all condensate drains, repair broken pipework, put a fall onto the required pipework, use the puricators to clean and protect the internal pipework and inserting pipe couplings for easy pipe access. Pump trays will need to be maintained and cleaned, with parts replaced as required.

You'll ensure that jobs are completed within SLA, all relevant KPI's are met and that all Arcus health & Safety procedures are complied with at all times. You'll also comply and adhere to all clients site requirements whilst working at a store, including following the correct signing in and out procedures in the store and adhering to the permit to work process.

You'll need to keep track of aged work orders and ensure that they are prioritised for completion.

To be sucessful in this role, you will need:

• Experience of water leak or drainage works would be an advantage
• Experience in basic electrical repairs also an advantage
• Other industry qualifications and certifications
  
• A UK Driving Licence is required due to the nature of the role
  

Other Factors:

• The post holder must be able to work flexibly as required by business needs and will require a full UK/EU driver's license
• Sunday - Thursday, 45 hours per week

This comprehensive 8-week course is your gateway to a thriving career in rail, offering:

- NVQ Level 2 in Rail Engineering

- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- Track Induction (TIC)
- Full PPE Provided
- Sentinel Card
- Manual Handling and Emergency First Aid Training
- Small Tools Training (Individual Competency Card Issued Upon Completion)
- Network Rail Drug, Alcohol and Medical.
- Real Work Placements:

Training is face to face and will predominantly be held at a training centre in Portsmouth however, once qualified, you will be working in the following locations: Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, Guilford and Basingstoke. As this job will require travel, candidates with full UK driving license will be prioritised. This is not essential but preferred.

Expected entry pay is £12 to £14 an hour

Eligibility Requirements:

Strict entry requirements apply; all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must pass a Network Rail drug, alcohol and medical test
- Must be 19+ years old
- Currently unemployed
- Hold 2 valid forms of ID, one must be photo ID
- Must be able to travel to Portsmouth on a daily basis

Job Title:  Animal care technician

Location: Portsmouth

Hours: full time

Payrate - £15 - £20

Duties:

• Provide daily care and maintenance of animals
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for animals
• Administer treatments and medications
• Monitor and record animal activity
• Assist with animal handling and restraint
• Communicate and collaborate with other staff members

Skills and requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Relevant experience
• Ability to provide basic animal care
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• Knowledge of animal husbandry techniques
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to handle and restrain animals
