Equans is looking for a Apprentice Facilities Site Officer (Mobile) to join our team working in the Peterborough School Sites. This role will be mainly based in Jack Hunt School, PE3 9PY. This is a fixed term role working 40 hours a week for 24 months with potential of permanent employment after completion. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
On completion you will gain a recognised Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 qualification
Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri to cover core school operating hours working staggered shifts between 5:30 to 22:00 pattern of earlies, lates and days. Overtime will apply to weekend or non core hours worked. Operational hours 8 hrs per day to be agreed with the line manager with 60 min unpaid lunch break.
What will you deliver?
The apprentice will support the site facilities teams across three schools in Peterborough. The apprentice will support qualified maintenance staff in a variety of tasks including installations, repairs, planned maintenance tasks, general premises checks and also grounds keeper duties such as strimming, pruning, vegetation/weed removal and control, and mowing playing fields. The apprentice will be expected to attend college on a day-release basis.
