Job Description:

Provides sterile equipment and supplies to surgery and other departments as required. This work includes decontamination, cleaning, sterilization and processing of supplies and equipment, following guidelines from federal and state agencies, manufacturer and hospital infection control.

Principle Responsibilities

• Demonstrates skill in preparation of surgical instruments
  • Performs decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation per department policy and procedures.
  • Assures instruments are clean and free of foreign matter in preparation for
  • sterilization.
  • Assembles instrument sets and trays accurately.
  • Packages and labels items for correct sterilization method.
• Performs work following safety standards and protocols
  • Follows infection control guidelines when working in decontamination.
  • Demonstrates appropriate use of washers/disinfectors, ultrasonic machine, high level disinfection and other department equipment.
  • Operates sterilizers safely, documenting loads according to standards.
  • Processes and interprets biological controls and tests per guidelines, documenting for each procedure.
  • Reports potentially unsafe situations and malfunctioning equipment to supervisor or Lead.
  • Conducts quality assurance checks on all required equipment per department guidelines.
• Provides support for Case Carts, Sterile Core and other areas as assigned
  • Pulls cases for next day, add-on and emergency procedures accurately.
  • Completes the appropriate paperwork for compliant charging and billing of case.
  • Follows tasks assignment list when working in the sterile core.
  • Responds to urgent requests with accuracy and efficiency.

Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician supports the inpatient pharmacy department and/or Oncology/Infusion Pharmacy to provide safe and prompt pharmaceutical care to patients. The Pharmacy Technician is a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training licensed by the Montana Board of Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient role  requires sterile IV room training and competencies, chemotherapy IV preparation training and competencies, medication reconciliation and/or Technician Checking Technician (“Tech check Tech or TCT”) training and routine quality assurance checks.

Essential Job Functions for Technician - Intravenous and Chemotherapy Trained:

• Compound and dispense medications, IV medications, chemotherapy and hazardous medications under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Perform aseptic technique and use of closed system transfer devices.
• Ensure clean and safe operation of rooms and IV hoods.
• Distribute medication to all areas of the hospital including accurately preparing restock bins to replenish automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs), controlled substances and hazardous medications.

Essential Job Functions for Technician - Medication Reconciliation Technician:

• Obtains medication histories and confirms accuracy of initial home medication use on all patients within 24 hours of admission to the hospital.
• Utilizes appropriate resources to complete medication history including but not limited to interview of the patient and/or family/caregiver and primary care provider. Review pharmacy records, prescription bottles or medication administration record.
• Document all medication histories within the electronic health record and communicate completed medication histories with the Pharmacist.

Essential Job Functions for Technician TCT:

• Check select oral and IV medications filled by another Pharmacy Technician.
• Perform second check for unit dose fills, automated dispensing cabinet picks, premixed or pre-checked IV piggybacks and floor stock supplies that were filled or stocked by another technician.

Job Overview

In accordance with a detailed cleaning plan, the Custodian performs general and specific cleaning and maintenance tasks to provide a clean, safe and pleasant physical environment, as well as other tasks as assigned in emergency or unusual situations - all in accordance with specific guidance from supervisor.  Examples of additional work to be performed include but are not limited to snow and ice removal, clean up associated with water or fire damage and special event support. 

The Custodian is expected to clean up to 28,000-35,000 square feet of cleanable space per eight hour work day.  Performance of duties involves using standard tools, equipment, materials and supplies of the trade and observance of all safety rules, regulations and precautions.

Work Interactions

The Custodian reports directly to one of the Custodial Supervisors (one of four night supervisors, one of three Residential Custodial Supervisors, an Evening Custodial Supervisor, a Day Custodial Supervisor, or a Weekend Custodial Supervisor).  They may report indirectly to a Night Operations Manager, depending on the shift assigned.

The Custodian works alone or with others, performing essential or non-essential tasks as assigned by supervisor.  They also perform assignments made by the Manager of Custodial Services and/or the Night Operations Manager. 

Under certain circumstances - including but not limited to, emergency snow removal, spills and flooding, the Custodian performs assignments made by the Work Management Center, the Director of Facilities Management, the Resource Manager, the Infrastructure Manager, and other department managers.

The Custodian's work constitutes a direct service of the department to ensure a comfortable, safe and clean environment in which the University community can live, learn and work.

The incumbent represents the department with the University community and its visitors. 

They are expected to behave in a professional manner; to keep informed of departmental and University rules, regulations and guides pertaining to employment obligations, including complying with attendance and clock in and out on time; work with other University Facilities staff as part of a team; and be flexible with schedule to accommodate emergency situations, such as staffing shortages and snow removal.

The Opportunity:

The Chilled Water division currently has four (4) utility plants, which produce and deliver over 37,000,000 ton-hours of cooling annually to campus facilities. The use of centrally located plants benefits UCF by reducing building energy consumption and eliminating less efficient stand-alone cooling at each of the campus buildings.

The department is seeking to hire a Centrifugal Chiller Technician II with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing maintenance and repairs to plant buildings, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, actuators, underground distribution pipes, valves, and vaults.  The incumbent will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the University’s Central Energy Plants.  At this level, the Chiller Technician must have the advanced technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all preventive maintenance and daily operations of all four Main Campus Central Energy Plants to ensure the chilled water district heat load is met at all times.

• Support all major repairs and maintenance inspections.

• Monitor and respond to any system failures and alarms for district energy plants.

• Perform independent advanced analysis on chilled water systems and associated sub-systems in DEP plants.

• Install, repair, replace, re-calibrate, and troubleshoot system controllers, terminal devices, electronic devices, actuators, and ancillary components to maintain continuously commissioned chilled water systems.

• Collaborate with leadership in the development and implementation of CHW system changes that provide improved and documented operational performance.

• Assist with the development of proposals and provides enhancement recommendations for actions on CHW modernization projects.

• Perform analysis of advanced system tests and historic trend data performance models to develop solutions and Facilities Performance Indicators (FPI's).

• Utilize technical data and experience to assist decision-making in CHW areas and other University departments relative to projects.

• Identify technical system issues and implement solutions accordingly.

• Collaborate with Automation contractors on interface changes to existing systems and their effects on them.

• Assist with developing, designing, and analyzing technical solutions through an appropriate blending of knowledge and business solutions.

• Perform CHW work orders and service requests pertaining to complex inquiries and quality-related matters.

• Perform proactive work orders to maintain the proper functionality of campus DEP plants.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient knowledge of CHW service and troubleshooting and performing these actions autonomously.

• Display a proficient understanding of HVAC and CHW theory and control concepts. This includes sequence of operations review, design, operation, and testing.

• Proficient communication skills in English in order to, but not limited to: work effectively with customers, operate and demonstrate the functions of the electronic equipment to staff members, comprehend and describe standard safety procedures to staff members and utilize telecommunication devices.

• Proficient with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS). Demonstrated knowledge of calibrations, maintenance, and repair of existing equipment and of new specialized CHW equipment.

• Experience in troubleshooting to include, electrical and power transmission basics, operations, set up, and maintenance of CHW, Energy savings techniques, Chiller drive parameters, as well as speed, torque, and horsepower relationships related to variable frequency drives.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as electrical multi meters, AMP meters, calipers, dial indicators, laser alignment tools, vibration analysis tools, and IR sensors.

Airbus Commercial Aircraft recherche un technicien de la surveillance des avions (f/h) pour rejoindre notre centre de service client basé à Toulouse, en France.

Vous ferez partie d'une équipe, appelée Customer Care Centre, chargée de soutenir la flotte Airbus en service dans le cas d'événements AOG. Une partie de l'activité consiste à gérer la maintenance proactive et prédictive pour anticiper le plus possible les situations AOG pour nos clients. Bien que le support à court terme soit fourni par les équipes de réception, un solide support back-office est nécessaire.

Votre rôle en tant technicien de la surveillance des avions sera de surveiller nos performances (programmes croisés), d'exprimer les besoins opérationnels dans ce domaine d'activité tout en contribuant au plateau Zero AOG pour le développement et la maintenance des algorithmes prédictifs nécessaires.

Vos défis :

- Agir en tant qu'expert opérationnel, apportant une expérience opérationnelle au plateau Zero-AOG pour tous les cycles de production d'algorithmes/suivi de tendances (sélection par intérêt opérationnel, revues et séances de travail avec l'ingénieur santé du plateau ZAOG, phases de validation). Le titulaire du poste soutiendra le plateau Zero-AOG pour affiner la validation de certains algorithmes en cas de besoin,

Agir en tant qu'interface avec les équipes de réception du Customer Care Center (cross programme) et les chefs de projet du plateau Zero AOG, en consolidant les besoins opérationnels pour améliorer la qualité des prévisions et la couverture des nouvelles exigences.

Vous épaulerez au cas par cas les ingénieurs des réceptions pour toute question/besoin d'assistance notamment lors du déploiement de nouveaux algorithmes, Contribuer avec les équipes de support ingénierie en service à la validation des conseils de maintenance par le biais de revues qualité avant livraison pour assurer la cohérence des livrables opérationnels (contenu des conseils, pertinence du dépannage, description, etc.),

Contribuer aux réunions d'alignement du plateau Zero-AOG (tous programmes) pour tous les sujets de support/service (pilotages, revues de déploiement...). En lien avec les équipes opérationnelles du Customer Care Center, contribuer à l'amélioration de la maturité et aux revues associées (internes & avec les clients) – ex : revues OI – en tant qu'expert Digital Maintenance Operation. Gérer les actions qui en résultent en coordination avec l'expertise nécessaire (ingénierie, ingénieurs Santé plateau Zero AOG,...).

Assurer les réunions de suivi technique avec les compagnies aériennes. En lien avec notre organisation Digital Services ou les équipes interface client Zero AOG, accompagnement au cas par cas et sur demande Avis clients en tant qu'expert Digital Maintenance Operation.

Contribuer à la définition des KPI de performance nécessaires pour mesurer l'efficacité des algorithmes prédictifs. Contribuer à l'opération de surveillance des tendances et d'analyse du taux d'occurrence du CMS (analyser et envoyer des recommandations) de toutes les activités de support, conformément à la stratégie de surveillance de la flotte du Customer Care Center. Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an  Aircraft Health & Monitoring technician (f/m) to join our Customer Care Centre based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team, called Customer Care Centre, responsible to support the Airbus fleet in service in the case of AOG events. Part of the activity consists in managing proactive and predictive maintenance to anticipate as far as possible AOG situations for our customers.

While the short term support is provided by front desks teams, a strong back office support is needed. Your role as Aircraft Health & Monitoring technician will be to monitor our performance (cross program), voice the operational needs in this field of activity while contributing to the Zero AOG plateau for the development and maintenance of the needed predictive algorithms.

Your challenges:

• Acting as Operational expert, bringing operational experience to the Zero-AOG plateau for all algorithms/trend monitoring production cycles (selection per operational interest, review and work sessions with ZAOG Plateau Health Engineer, validation phases). The job holder will support the Zero-AOG plateau for fine tuning validation of some algorithms when needed,

• Acting as interface with Customer Care Centre front desks teams (cross program) and the Zero AOG plateau Project leaders, consolidating the operational needs to enhance prediction quality and coverage with new requirements. You will support on case by case the front desks engineers for any question / support need in particular during the deployment of new algorithms,

• Contributing with the in-service engineering support teams to the validation of the maintenance advices through pre delivery quality gate review to ensure consistency of operational deliverables (content of the advice, troubleshooting relevance, description, etc.),

• Contributing to Zero-AOG plateau alignment meetings (all programs) for all support / service topics (steering’s, deployment reviews...).

• In conjunction with Customer Care Centre operational teams, contribute to maturity enhancement and associated reviews (internal & with customers) – eg : OI reviews - as Digital Maintenance Operation expert. Manage resulting actions coordinating with needed expertise (engineering, Zero AOG plateau Health engineers,...). Ensure technical follow up meetings with Airlines.

• In conjunction with our Digital Services organization or Zero AOG customer interface teams, support in case by case and on request Customer reviews as Digital Maintenance Operation expert.

• Contributing to the definition of the needed performance KPI to measure efficiency of the predictive algorithms.

• Contributing to Trend monitoring and CMS occurrence rate analysis operation (analyse and send recommendations) of all support activity in line with the Customer Care Centre fleet monitoring strategy.

Your boarding pass:

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience working directly on aircraft

• Technical expertise: tools, frameworks, regulations

• Technical expertise: A very good understanding of A/C systems in general (practical & operational experience is needed).

• Dynamic, with a high sense of team spirit and engagement to work within a project cross functional team

• Capacity in making synthesis of complex event analysis while expressing operational needs in clear terms

• Strong Customer and Operations mind-set

The Opportunity: 

The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machine Technician II is responsible for operating machine tools to manufacture and engineer/reverse engineer parts. Supports research, instructional, and Senior Design activities of faculty, staff, and students through design/fabrication services. Proficient with Solid Works in modeling and making blueprints. Maintains quality and safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. This position reports to the Machine Shop Manager and will fill in when the Manager is off-campus.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate, understand, and maintain all current and planned machining equipment, both metrology and prototyping equipment and tools in the Shop, inclusive of lathes, mills, saws, Computer Numerical Control (CNC), manual devices, and other equipment in the shop.

• Utilize Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) tools/softwares.

• Train staff, faculty, students, and any other employees of the colleges to use machines, meteorology, and prototyping equipment.

• Provide guidance to customers who request support for design and materials selection. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

• Interaction on an individual/team basis to deliver high-quality machine parts and designs based on sketches, verbal, detailed drawings, 3-D models, or other concepts.

• Maintain continuity among team members by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maximize productivity and minimize machine downtime.

• Maintain a working environment that fosters teamwork and respect among all Machine Shop staff, OR, MAE, and all other colleges and departments that make up The University of Central Florida.

• Capable of stepping into the training role and assisting students in the beginning and advanced concepts of manufacturing. This means working in both the Main Shop and Training as the workload requires.

• Foster a safe working environment consistent with UCF Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies. Responsible for all individuals in the shop in accordance with all safety practices of manufacturing. Training and teaching of staff, professors, students, and any other individual in the shop of all safety protocols.

• Work with supervisory staff to maintain inventory of required shop materials, tooling, and equipment.

• Ability to maintain equipment and make any minor adjustments/fixes to machinery as needed. Maintain maintenance log(s) as required. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines concerning troubleshooting and repair of machinery. Possess contact information for equipment service techs should they be required.

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Possess the ability to follow all lock-out-tag processes.

• Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership in all you do. Explore opportunities to add new and upcoming technologies to better serve our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:  

Completion of an approved machinist apprenticeship program and 2+ years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 5 years experience in 3 Axis CNC Machining – Lathes and Mills, Haas machines a plus.

• 3 years experience in 5 Axis CNC Machining – Mills, Okuma machines a plus.

• Experience with Makino Wire EDM, CNC Fast Hole EDM.

• Hands-on application of manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, saws, and various other shop equipment.

• 5 years of Solidworks CAD Software experience, latest Update.

• Experience with MasterCam CAM Software, version 2023.

• Experience with all Microsoft Software products.
