About Us The Richard Pate School is owned and operated by Pate’s Grammar School Foundation. It is a successful co-ed independent day school for 3-11 year olds in Cheltenham. We offer children a broad education in modern, purpose-built facilities which include specialist Art, Science and IT classrooms indoors, and an Astro pitch, Woodland, Playing Fields and Tennis Courts outdoors. We are seeking an individual with proven general maintenance skills and experience, who understands the importance of health and safety and is willing to undertake a broad range of facilities maintenance and support tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the school. In summary the role is as follows: • Full time permanent post, 52 weeks per year. • Salary £27,711 - £31,586 dependant on experience. • To manage the school’s Planned Preventive Maintenance programme (assisted by specialist contractors), perform routine health and safety checks and undertake a broad range of maintenance and other support tasks. These include acting as one of the school’s First Aiders at Work, and driving the school minibus on occasions. • Start date as soon as possible. Grounds Maintenance workers are needed to work for a landscape/grounds maintenance company. The duties are lawn cutting, litter picking, Lawn mowing, Strimming lawns and edges, defining lawn edges, Hedge cutting, weed control, using ride on mowers (not essential), using plant machinery and powered tools and other general gardening duties as directed by the supervisor

The candidates will need to report to the client every morning in the Woodbridge Suffolk area

Candidates must have experience

A drivers licence is essential

£13.57 per hour

The hours are 7am to 5pm- Monday to Friday

Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: You will have a geographical area based from where you live so this isn't crucial. This position is covering Cheltenham/Gloucester and the broader area.
Salary: £17.50 per hour with an exceptional career progression plan to increase your hourly rate to £18.90. Any time worked over contracted 35 hours is overtime with plenty available (Paid at time and a half at £26.25 per hour rising to £28.35) so yearly earnings in excess of £50,000 and over are very achievable depending on how much overtime you are willing to do.
Hours: Monday to Friday 35 hours with shifts falling between 8am and 8pm (Mostly 8am - 5pm due to daylight) with 1 in 3/4 Saturdays (Paid at time and a half).
