We operate an effective central estates management team and helpdesk service.
Although your main place of work will be Mendip Green Primary School, Worle – you may be required to work at any of ELAN’s locations. Therefore, access to transport is essential.
This is an all-year round, permanent opportunity working 37 hours per week (including 37 INSET hours over the year) Monday to Friday.
Actual salary E3 £24,790 or E4 £25,584 per annum pro rata plus excellent benefits package dependent on qualifications (please see job specification).
You will be responsible for the day–to-day upkeep of the school building and grounds, facilities maintenance, security and health and safety of the site.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Brymore is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11 – 16 set in its own 60-acre site with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities.

We are looking for a well organised, practical and understanding individual to join the Academy as a Technician. Predominantly supporting Design and Technology but also supporting the Horticulture and Art departments when required. The main purpose of the Technician role is to assist in the teaching, delivery and maintenance of the department, and to support teaching and learning within the department.

You will need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in literacy and numeracy, with experience of dealing with young people. Experience of supporting students within an educational setting would be an advantage.
