Campus Infrastructure wish to appoint a Maintenance Manager with primary responsibility to assist the General Maintenance Manager to rectify and diagnose a broad range of building related defects/problems and alterations.
This will include:
* the management of regulatory compliance
* PPM activity, using the in house staff and contractors
* undertaking routine and legislative checks
* ensuring compliance with the University’s Health & Safety policy
* obtaining formal quotations and/or tenders from external contractors,
* monitoring the quality of works on site,
* checking invoices before payment,
* maintaining records of repairs and correspondence for strict auditing purposes.
You should have:
* a good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics or a relevant NVQ
* Facilities Management-related qualification or equivalent relevant experience
* ISOH Managing Safely or equivalent

This is a full-time role working 36.5 hours per week, falling between 08:00 and 18:00, to be worked flexibly as required by operational needs, Monday to Friday. There may be occasional working outside of these hours.
