Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the Regional Operations Director in delivering robust property refurbishment programmes, assisting in responding to reactive requirements of individual services and service users, liaising and overseeing works to support the fire risk assessments and water risk assessments cross all services.
As Regional Facilities Manager, you will take forward our Facilities agenda, you will engage with people at all levels of Elysium and be someone who is passionate about the wellbeing of service users and staff and is ready to manage the property portfolio with this in mind.

As Regional Facilities Manager, you will be:
- Attending sites to appraise works required and liaising with contractors to obtain quotes
- Assisting in maintaining and providing updates in relation to works required as per the database for fire risk assessments & water risk assessments for all sites.
- Producing a monthly facilities heat map for Governance.
- Providing property and technical support to the Services, providing expertise, advice, and appropriate action.
- Assisting with the capital expenditure budget for Elysium, ensuring planned CapEx projects are delivered on budget, to time and within quality constraints.
- Assisting with inspections from regulatory bodies such as CQC, HSE, Local Authority and Fire service where required.
- Advising Service Managers on equipment breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues, assist in expediting the most effective solution.
- Conducting regular condition surveys and feed this back to the Regional Operations Director and the Capex process.
- Attending divisional operational meetings and facilities meetings when needed.
To be successful in this role you will need: - Building/Trade based qualification
- CMS or DMS
- IOSH
- Up-to-date knowledge of facilities compliance standards
- 3yrs minimum experience of working within a health care or similar environment
- Demonstrable experience in a facilities reactive role
- Knowledge of property construction methods, building fabric and mechanical & electrical services
- Project management – experience of project managing simultaneous CapEx projects – from replacements to major refurbishments
- Experience in aspects of leading a property function, including the resource and budget management
