To support the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to ensure safe medication practice with EPMA. Communicate to Senior pharmacy team current policies that will need updating to and to support this to ensure processes of EPMA working is clear. Support on the business process for medicines management from a technical perspective. Provide expert knowledge advice to wider team. Understand the use of other systems and how they interact i.e. WellSky, MTeD Understand how EPMA will function within the clinical environment and be clear of new processes. Identify and help deliver training requirements for wider team. Participate in local training initiatives. Participate in evening, weekend and bank holiday rotas, as appropriate. Responsible for planning and managing own workload, with a strong focus on delivery against agreed deadlines and needs of the service. High level of accuracy skills required as checking patient medicines on hourly basis for outpatients, inpatients and discharges in a pressurised ward and dispensary environment.
