An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Junior Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a family-run business located in Ashford.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Junior Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

The ideal Motor Trade Junior Vehicle Technician will be fully qualified and experienced within the Junior Vehicle Technician role.

Typical Duties as a Junior Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:

- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Junior Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic Requirements:

- A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
- Your own Vehicle Technician tools

The salary of this Junior Vehicle Technician role is up to £35,000 basic.

Hours of work in this Junior Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm / Saturday 1 in 2.

Maintenance Assistant

Contract: Full Time
Salary: £26,000 plus service charge

A maintenance assistant and Champneys forms part of the team that is a responsible for maintaining our hotels to a high standard, ensuring they are consistently safe and are elegant in presentation both inside and out.

You maybe skilled in domestic fixings, these are great skills that you can apply to our hotel bedrooms and guest areas.

Some duties of a Maintenance Assistant include:

• Using your keen eye for detail identify areas or items for repair and ensure they fixed and back in service.
• Maintain our fixtures, fittings and property, some fixes or maintenance might be new to you, where it is full training will be provided.
• Working alongside other areas conduct comprehensive walk rounds and identify areas for planned maintenance.
