The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing onsite technical support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer training for radiology equipment, diagnostic monitors, nurse call systems, and operating lights. This role requires a proactive, customer-oriented professional who is adept at managing field service tasks and ensuring the operational efficiency of medical and radiology systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting for radiology equipment, diagnostic monitors, PCs, accessories, nurse call systems, and operating lights.
- Ensure quick and effective diagnosis of equipment issues and apply corrective actions to restore functionality.
- Perform monthly updates of DVD/USB counter records and log checks, obtaining customer signatures for verification and documentation purposes.
- Maintain accurate service logs and provide timely reports for all service visits.
- Provide onsite support, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for automatic DICOM DVD/USB burners and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
- Ensure the system's compliance with safety and performance standards and address issues to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Ability to learn and research technical information independently.
- Basic interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with colleagues and clients.
- Reliability and strong commitment to meeting assigned responsibilities.
- Capable of handling high-pressure situations and meeting urgent requirements.
