Within the workplace the core activities are the safe dispensing of medicines, rotating throughout the pharmacy department and between both hospital sites. A large amount of time is spent out on the wards covering various ward based pharmacy duties. To develop the skills and the knowledge in all areas of hospital pharmacy practice required to become a qualified Pharmacy Technician, and to work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Principles & Practice for Pharmacy Technicians. Eligible candidates will also be enrolled onto the Advanced Pharmacy Apprenticeship.
