MAIN DUTIES

People

• Assist the Executive Head Housekeeper in ensuring the housekeeping department operates within the brand guidelines, utilising SOP manuals
• Support with engaging, training, leading, and inspiring the housekeeping team

• To ensure all guest laundry, dry cleaning is processed in accordance with the hotel’s procedures, charges are raised, and documentation is completed as necessary
• To be aware of contract work within the hotel, e.g., window cleaning, ensuring it is completed within the time frame
• To complete audits with your Area Manager and or Hotel General Manager, where appropriate and action issues
• All cleaning materials and guest supplies are stored correctly
• To check from 75 to 95 rooms on daily basis
• To check all vacant ready rooms on daily basis
• Public areas and Linen Room quality checks and management

Profit

• Ensure that accurate records are maintained and that hours of work are properly recorded and submitted to the company for the timely payment of team member wages
• Take initial responsibility for managing and resolving all and any payroll or other Team Member queries
• To ensure all stores are ordered in line with company budgets
• To ensure all bed linen and towels soiled and clean sent and received are controlled and records kept on daily basis
• Linen management using the Linen Tracker

PREVIOUS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager experience from a busy hotel housekeeping environment
• Previous people management experience
• Experience of dealing with budgets, including analysing profit and loss
• Desirable to have experience of dealing with Health & Safety matters

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An established facilities maintenance provider is expanding their maintenance division within the Bournemouth area and looking to recruit a dedicated and hardworking electrical maintenance engineer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance contract meets clients demands and compliance regulations by ensuring all pre planned and reactive maintenance tasks are carried out.

This is a Monday to Friday position working 40 hours a week. There will be an on call rota that you will need to participate in which will be 1 week in 9 with a standby rate of £130 plus any call outs paid at overtime rates.

To be considered for this position you must have the experience working in a similar commercial environment and have the following qualifications;

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Systems (optional)
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
• 18th edition

In addition other requirements for this position are;

• 5 years minimum experience working within facilities maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Proactive and willing to go the extra mile
• Able to participate in the company on call rota
