What you will be doing:
● Develop system designs, including programming and selecting instrumentation and control equipment
● Prepare and review I&C specifications, requirements, and drawings, such as instrument lists, datasheets, ICA panels, control valves, process functional descriptions, and single line diagrams (SLD).
● Oversee control architecture, create single line drawings, and develop control schematic diagrams, with a focus on programming and necessary modifications for SCADA/HMI systems.
● Collaborate in the development of P&IDs, package specifications, logic diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control narratives.
● Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs).
● Lead and liaise with suppliers regarding Instrumentation and Control Automation (ICA).
● Conduct installation inspections, loop checks, startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of plants.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
● Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Instrumentation and Control.
● Strong knowledge of Instrumentation and Control systems.
● Familiarity with high-end fieldbus communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus).
● Ability to read and understand single line diagrams and generate Bills of Materials from them.
● Understanding of control schematics, motor controls, and materials take-off.
● Experience with Siemens or Mitsubishi PLC software is a plus.
