Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Assistant - Temporary (8 weeks)

Are you an experienced Maintenance Assistant with commercial experience? Are you looking for a company to offer progression and training? Randstad Construction, Property & Engineering are working alongside a regional facilities management business who are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Assistant, who will be responsible for carrying out compliance aspects of planned preventive maintenance.
Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to complete a basic DBS check, a DBS check on the update system would be advantageous.
Package:
- Competitive hourly rate up to £13.00 (depending on experience)
- Core hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough visual inspections of appliances for any visible defects or signs of damage.
- Carrying out general building tasks which can include moving office furniture, fire alarm testing, emergency light testing etc.
- Identifying and documenting any faults, defects, or potential hazards.
- Staying up-to-date with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a similar role is advantageous,
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot potential hazards.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
